So, the sexual immorality has the same kind of meaning here, as well. And I am not sure if she was pushing a particular religion, but just telling Christians that it was OK to eat the food sacrificed to other gods that were the god's of the particular guides that they would be apart of. Wow, and yeah reading the Message just now reminds me that he has heavily written his on commentary into the text (of course) But he is taking the words of Christ much more literal than I personally would. We talked about some people in the news today who are pushing these type of religions...the "all about me" faiths. One famous woman in particular sounds a lot like the jezebel in "the Message". She is pushing a religion to the masses that encourages only self reliance rather than reliance on God for our needs.
